While squash is the hook of our program, our real goal is improving educational outcomes for our students. Capitol Squash staff work closely with teachers and families to monitor academic progress, identify areas for growth, and develop individualized improvement plans. During academic sessions, students receive homework help, one-on-one tutoring, and engaging academic enrichment from mock debates to vocabulary bees to math competitions. For students in 3rd-7th grade, we focus on building strong literacy skills and a solid academic foundation. For students in 8th-12th grade, we provide SAT preparation, college exploration, and guidance as they prepare for post-secondary life.
